Disabling the Cygwin SSH server means you will need an alternative means of control, whether physical presence or TeamViewer etc. Don’t do this for a remote PC before you know the alternative remote control method will work!
Disable Cygwin Windows SSH server with Cygwin “Run As Administrator”:
cygrunsrv -E sshd cygrunsrv -R sshd
Reboot and verify that you CANNOT connect to your former SSH server.
CYGWIN sshd should not be in services.msc anymore.
