Fortran Quickstart BU SCC compute cluster

These examples are specifically for BU SCC. They may have corollaries on your cluster/supercomputer.

You can choose between Intel, PGI, or GCC compiler families.

GCC compilers

Create a file ~/gcccompilers.sh with the contents

#!/bin/sh

module load cmake
module load gcc
module load openmpi

Intel compilers

Create a file ~/intelcompilers.sh with the contents

#!/bin/sh

module load cmake
module load intel
module load openmpi/1.10.1_intel2016

export MKLROOT=$SCC_MKL_LIB/../..

. $MKLROOT/bin/mklvars.sh intel64 lp64
. $MKLROOT/../bin/compilervars.sh -arch intel64
. $MKLROOT/../../../compilers_and_libraries/linux/mpi/bin64/mpivars.sh

then to enable Intel compilers, each time you login and wish to use the Intel compilers

. intelcompilers.sh
